This Pre-Columbian textile fragment dates from the Chimu period. It features two sections of a mantel with squares featuring birdlike figures in red, yellow, brown and ivory. The slit-tapestry woven squares are separated by bands of simply patterned weft float.

This Navajo rug was woven in the Southwest United States during the 2nd quarter of the 20th Century. The design is composed of a single black sawtoothed diamond on a heathered gray field. A central sand toned dash and thin blocks of red on the top and bottom add visual interest and dimension. Straightforward yet very moving with a powerful presence. A nice showcase and celebration of Navajo weaving.

This Coptic textile was woven in Egypt or the Levant during the 5th-7th century AD.  This colorful pieces features a fragment that includes various part of a tree or floral motif as well as multiple borders including matching minor borders of flowering vines and a main border of rosettes and leaves.
