This Baluch rug was handwoven during the first quarter of the 20th century in Afghanistan.
It features a camel ground and a geometric trellis motif in earthy reds, blues and a camel ground. It is framed by a border of diamonds encapsulated by interlocking "S" forms.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. All four sides reinforced on an earlier date. Low pile, with a loose handle.
