This Heriz rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
Showcasing a classic geometric central medallion it boasts an array of rich tones. A brick-red field is complemented by deep navy, multiple blues, greens, gold, and coral tones with brown and ivory accents. The four ivory cornices and icy blue outer border brighten the composition. Nicely framed by a navy main border of polychrome palmettes.
In very good condition with some areas of wear to the face (as pictured). Ends have been restored and reinforced for longevity.
