The main design is composed of a central mandala, encircled by flower branches and blossoms on a rich red ground. This red tone is very auspicious and often associated with prosperity. The main border design separated into cartouches that include and various auspicious symbols. Between each cartouche is an endless knot symbol. The minor borders feature the classic pearl motif and greek key motif.

This Shahsavan rug was during the 19th century. The octagons and ground are full of various protection symbols, flora and fauna and geometric shapes. Framed by a main border of talish rosettes on an ivory ground that is flanked by bent ribbon minor borders. Excellent use of color and contrast give the border wonderful movement and dimension. The shahsavan are mostly known for their bags and flatweaves.quite rare and collectible.

This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in India. It features an idiosyncratic pattern of wonky interconnected diamonds on a ground of alternating stripes in different widths and colors and full of various small diamond shapes. The diamond lattice is outlined in a thick white band flanked by smaller back and green bands and appears to float above the polychrome striped ground that alternates between vibrant tones red, green and watermelon and calmer tones of pale yellow and sand.

This Lavar Kerman rug was handwoven during latte 19th century in Central Iran. This oversized rug features a central medallion with a curvilinear floral design and scalloped cornices. The cornices are distinct but have a continuous feel with the central medallion. The field features a vast array of blossoming flowers on patinated fuschia ground. Tones of yellow, golden wheat, chartreuse, coral and ivory round out the gentle and nuanced palette.

This runner was woven by Kurds at the turn of the 20th century. It features large rows of botehs in pink, purple, blue, ivory and brown on a vibrant orange ground. In between the botehs various vegetation, people and animals can be found. The whole is framed by two main borders of rosettes that shift in form on chocolate and pistachio grounds. The borders have moments where animals and people can be found between the rosettes.

Framed by a wide main border of multicolored eight-pointed stars on an ivory ground which is flanked by two minor borders of multicolored ovals on a soft red ground. This Bokhara was woven in Pakistan during the 1980s. With an uncommon design for Bokhara rugs it for Bokhara features a classic Ensi design and a lovely skirt border on one end all on a desirable and uncommon black ground. Ensi rugs were woven by Turkmen tribes and traditionally used as a door cover or entrance to a yurt. Their is a belief among seasoned Turkmen collectors that the intention of this pattern was to represent a door or window to the afterlife.
