This kilim was woven in Egypt during the 20th century.
It depicts a simple scene of two donkeys grazing near two palm trees. These weavings are usually associated with the Wissa Wassef weaving center. A playful, innocent scene with nice use of shading in the backdrop. Would be great for a kid's room!
In very good condition. Flatwoven with a floppy handle
