This Deco rug was handwoven during the 1930s in Tientsin, China.
It features a calm greyish-purple ground with a maroon border. The patterning is full of whimsical polychrome flowers both large and small. They grow out of various vases and stones with curving vines that disregard the barrier between field and border Truly a statement piece, this rug will liven up any room.
In very good condition. Full, lush pile with a silky sheen. Dense and durable with a heavy handle.
