This Marmoucha rug was woven in the Middle Atlas mountains during the 20th century.
It features a tight diamond lattice design in green and white on grape ground. The purple tone shifts throughout the rug deeply saturated to soft and faded. The perimeter is neatly framed by a thin line.
In very good condition, with minimal wear and color fading. The pile is thick, with a hefty handle.
