This Gabbeh rug was woven during the late 20th century.
It features a rather cartoonish depiction a person with a severed hand and head. In the top left is a sword. The head and the hand almost appear as they could slide right back on. Rendered in just a few sepia shades of wool and framed simple diamond border.
In very good condition with little to no wear and thick meaty pile.
