This Burqa was crafted in Afghanistan during the late 20th century.
A burqa is a full-body garment that covers a woman's face and body. This burqa is made of periwinkle blue fabric with pleating around the back and embroidery across the front that includes floral shapes just below the mesh opening for the eyes.
It is in good condition with small patches and some sun fading.
