This Gabbeh rug was handwoven during the 21st century.
It features a simple and very organic rendering of a tree in dark brown barren of any leave on a variegated cream and brown ground. The simple form is naturalistic in its asymmetry and in the way the branches spread out into various tributaries. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug. Great for the floor or the wall.
The rug is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.
