This Timuri Baluch rug was handwoven around 1900 in Western Afghanistan. Features a bright red orange ground with an abstracted tree of life design in the field. Surrounding this is a large border with a natural brown ground with pops of indigo blues, ivory, and coral forming a geometric vine pattern. Wear is consistent with age.
