This Sarouk was handwoven during the middle of the 20th century.

The composition is composed of various weeping willows and floral bouquets in a pleasing palette of blues, reds and pinks on a pale yellow ground. This patterning is uncharacteristic of Sarouk weaving and more commonly associated with Kashan. Nicely framed by a distinctive red and yellow dual ground interlock border.
