This Kars runner was woven in Eastern Anatolia during the middle of the 20th century.
It features a large grid full of fun and wonky memling guls in reds, browns, yellows, and navy on the faded coral ground. The field is framed by a simple thin brown border and the edges have been finished with multiple selvages.
It very good condition, a soft and fluffy pile with a loose handle.
