This Lilihan rug was handwoven by Armenians during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It utilizes graphic floral patterning with an Art Deco feel. Rendered in lively blues, greens, and red with brown and gold on a coral ground. A central focal point blends seamlessly into the repeat field pattern. Framed by a meandering border on a red clay ground.
In very good condition, some of the end borders are missing but have been reinforced . The pile is low, with a floppy handle.
