This vintage textile was crafted by the Hmong people of Loas.
This textile would have been the bottom row of a traditional Hmong skirt. Indigo dyed cotton is embellished with ivory, black and yellow cross-stitch and colorful appliquéd patches. The appliqué utilizes various block-print scraps which add alot of energy and interest.
In good condition, Fraying along the edge, small stains, and a tear in the patchwork
