This kilim was woven in Turkey during the 21st century.
It features a repetition of delicate polychrome tulips around a blue field. The tulips are finely woven of handspun wool in naturally dyed tones of yellow, green, brown, red, and pink and float upon an indigo field. The indigo background vibrates with each natural variation giving it a simple and straightforward presence, as well as a special feeling. Made in a manner uncommon for modern production, this is sure to be well crafted for future generations.
In excellent unused condition. Flatwoven with some heft giving it durability.
