Antique NW Persian Heriz rug featuring a graphic all-over design of geometric rosettes and sawtoothed serrated leaves in blues, reds, yellow and soft pink on a rare ivory ground. Although the design is all-over as opposed to the classic Heriz central-medallion motif, the compelling leaves draw the eyes to the center. The main border is composed of a reciprocating palmette design showcasing various well-executed blue tones that frame the ivory field perfectly.
