This hooked rug was woven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features a formalized design of flowers and cornices, on an olive brown field. The flowers are hooked in blue and pink, with yellow leaves. Small red and black borders frame the design. The edges have been reinforced for longevity.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Hooked pile on a burlap backing, with a sturdy handle.
