This Maimana kilim was woven in Pakistan by Afghan refugees during the 21st Century.
It features classic Maimana patterning of stepped diamonds but with a bright punch of unexpected color. The age-old design is brought alive with turquoise, maroon, orange, yellow, and red on wonderful purple ground.
In excellent condition, flat-woven with a substantial handle.
