This Turkish rug was woven in Central Anatolia during the second quarter of the 20th Century.
This rug features a field broken into three compartments all encapsulated by large main border of abstracted tulips. The central compartment contains a red medallion on a lilac ground and is flanked by two compartments which each contain three tree-like motifs on a red ground. Glowing accents of orange, yellow, and small touches of pink add interest and energy.
In very good condition. Some worn areas (as pictured) and some light color run of the orange dye.
