Eagle Kazak rug handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in the Caucasus.

Eagle Kazak refers to the "eagle" shaped medallions, of which there are three on this small rug. They are woven in peach and camel alternatively, and are on a dark grey field which appears oxidized and must have once been purple. The wine-red border features various the stars and shapes commonly found in Caucasian and Kazak rugs. 

In fair condition, with wear throughout. Low pile, with a light handle.
