This Bidjar rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century
It features large stylized palmettes that unfurl into the kaleidoscopic composition bursting with color, energy and charm. The jewel toned palette is a saturated symphony of rose, coral, aqua, orange, butter and violet tones layered across a nicely abrashed red ground and framed by a dusty lavender border. A dense, hard wearing rug perfect for high traffic areas.
In very good condition for its age with little to no wear. With a low, dense pile and a heavy handle.
