This Turkmen rug was handwoven during the first quarter of the 20th century (1900-1925) in Northern Afghanistan. Features a hyper detailed design of ten symmetrical diamonds running in two columns along the length of the rug. This piece includes a wide variety of colors, yet has a very balanced and cohesive feel due to a combination of the detailed patterning and excellent patina. This rug is in excellent condition other than some wear on the kilim edge (as pictured)
