This rug was woven by Sanjabi Kurds during the 19th century.

Each pair of hexagons is separated by bands of geometric shapes added in asymmetric fashion that give the composition a dynamic visual rhythm while the vibrant borders add welcomed balance and refinement. If you look closely you will find the inclusion of two camel like figures which further add to the rug's charm and distinctive personality.

Very good condition with areas of wear. The original end kilim is still intact.
