Timuri Baluch was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Western Afghanistan.

It features a lattice pattern of stepped diamonds and serrated polygons. With lush deep blue and red wool with a dark but lustrous complexion. The addition of a dark brown which has oxidized naturally sculpts the pattern and gives the shapes the feeling of floating in space. Bright speckles of white cotton have been woven around the main border adding a subtle touch of electricity. weft float

This Baluch was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Western Afghanistan.

It features a lattice pattern of stepped diamonds and serrated polygons. With lush deep blue and purplish red wool that has a dark but lustrous complexion. The addition of a dark brown which has oxidized naturally in areas sculpts the pattern and gives the shapes the feeling of floating in space. Bright speckles of white cotton have been woven around the main border adding a subtle touch of electricity. Embellished with weft floated kilim edges of interlocking orange "S"s and multicolored poofs. In a hard to find room size, this type of Baluch is known as a main rug.

In very good condition, with minimal signs of wear.
