This prayer rug is woven in Anatolia during the 20th Century.
It features a directional gateway formed by an archway that is flanked by two minarets on a rosy red ground and framed by a wide border of flowering vines that showcase three different blue tones. A unique pop of "brat" green is found between the arch and minarets and the two-toned green leaves in the border. The unexpected and energetic color combination make for a fun and funky piece.
In excellent condition in a full pile with little to almost no signs of wear.
