This Kirsehir runner was handwoven in central Anatolia during the 19th Century.
This rug features a field of serrated diamonds flanked by sawtoothed triangles on a cochineal purple ground with additional tones of lavender, wheat and raspberry. This type often comes in prayer rug format and rarely in runner size.
In Good condition with a fair amount of wear. With no holes and all 4 sides have been reinforced. Low pile, with a light handle.
