This striking yellow Suzani was embroidered during the third quarter of the 20th century (1950-1975) in Uzbekistan.
It features a central mandala with a multilayered arrangement of flowers in blue, white and bright pink framed by a large outer border of scrolling green vines with flowers in burgundy, pink and white. With little to no space of this textile untouched, the majority of this piece has been meticulously embroidered.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age.
