This rainbow Sarape was woven in Northern Mexico during the early 20th century.
This sarape is very finely woven and has an equally fine and delicate netted fringe on the two ends. There is a central diamond with a multicolor box pattern, and alternating stripes of various variegated colors and widths comprising over sixty colors.
In very good condition, with signs of wear consistent with age.
