This runner was woven by Kurds in Eastern Anatolia during the third quarter of the 20th century.
It features the classic jaff pattern of interconnected diamonds in reds, purples, burnt orange, sage, and peach. This pattern is rarely found on runners and most commonly associated with the smaller saddlebags associated with Kurdish nomads. Nicely framed with a simple laleh abbasi border in red and white.
In very good condition. Pile is low, with a stiff handle.
