This Karabagh kilim was woven by Armenians in the middle of the 20th century.
It features two diamond medallions on a dark brown field. The diamond medallions are composed of geometric floral designs, which continue throughout the larger composition. The color palette is soft and minimal with browns, reds as the main colors, white and soft blues adding details and interest.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a medium handle.
