This Shirvan rug was woven in the Caucasus during the turn of the 20th century.
It features a geometric design of small medallions in diagonal columns surrounded by a colorful ivory border. Reds, greens, oranges, and blues are contrasted with cream and brown wool.
Structurally sound with wear throughout in the pile, the foundation is intact. Missing one minor and guard border from each end.
