This Shiraz rug was handwoven at the end of the 20th century.
This cheerful Shiraz rug features a well-balanced variation of the Herati design in a fun and fresh palette that includes turquoise, green aubergine, yellow, orange, and both hot and dusty pink on a Nantucket red ground. The whole composition is framed by a strong border of alternating palmettes and serrated leaves.
In excellent vintage condition with a dense hardwearing pile.
