This Gabbeh rug was handwoven during the 21st century.
It features a beautiful blue story of alternating dark and light indigo stripes sandwiched between one deep navy stripe on the top and bottom. A rectangle in the center of the rug appears to float above the rest as it is woven out of line creating a wonderful optical illusion. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The rug is in excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
