The design of the bag faces is made up of a repeating geometric motif, with a large border, and the kilim between the faces is of squares in alternating colors. The color palette is limited to reds, whites, and browns.

This Turkmen double saddlebag or 'khorjin' was woven during the second quarter of the 20th century.

The bag face is pile, with a flatwoven back. Small braided loops at the tops of both bag-faces act as closures. The design of the bag faces is made up of a repeating geometric motif, with a large border, and the kilim between the faces is of squares in alternating colors. The color palette is limited to reds, whites, and browns. 

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age.  Four original tassels are intact.
