North American hooked rug handcrafted in New England during the 20th century.
This simple and playful rug features a black locomotive approaching the station. It is coming in head-on against a lush background of vegetation represented in blocks of yellows greens that have softly faded with age.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Recycled materials are hooked onto a burlap back, heavy handle.
