"Color of Money", 2020
Handmade quilt utilizing vintage and found fabrics.
On the front, you will find nine graphic daisies, each in its own square of alternating light and dark green backgrounds. Each flower is comprised of many different fabrics which include flames, checkers, and money. Each flower has a red center with the exception of the center medallion which is a cutout hole in the quilt. On the back, the quilt utilizes the same fabrics, but in an abstract manner using different-sized squares and rectangles. A black trim encompasses the entire piece, providing it with a polished finish.
