This rag rug runner was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in North America.
It features a rainbow of colors with purple being the most dominant which is accentuated by the purple binding. The various colors pop against the use of black thread.
Wear is consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a structured but airy handle. The rug has been professionally cleaned but there is one old stain (as pictured)
