This silk rug was handwoven in Europe during the middle of the 20th century.
In the abstract expressionist style of Wassily Kandinsky. It features elegant and lively abstracted motifs the explode like a celebration with raining confetti. The tones of red, blue, yellow, pinks, greens and purples are luxuriously rendered in silk and really pop against a black ground. The vibe is both soft and bold at the same time.
In very good condition with a full silky pile and hefty handle.
