Handwoven meditation or seating mat was woven in Tibet during the second quarter of the 20th century
This soft and plush rug features a simple design of a central mandala flanked by four flowers woven in blue, pink, and cream on a brown field. A highly dimensional fret border appears to float around the perimeter.
In excellent condition, with signs of wear consistent with age. High pile, with a soft handle. The original fringe is still intact.
