This Deco rug was handwoven in Eastern China during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features an open blue field framed by a wide cream border. Two thin lines in navy and indigo separate the two color blocks and are straddled by various floral bouquets that provide the only decoration. Simple and straightforward with a luxurious feel.
In very good condition. Low pile with a soft silky handle.
