This Turkmen was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950) in Central Asia.
It features a symmetrical field of classic ersari main and minor guls down the length of the rug in pinkish red and indigo blue atop a deeper madder red field. Surrounded by an interlocking diamond border in the same color way.
In very good condition. A variety of old repairs have been done properly and preserved the rug well.
