This rug was woven by the Quchan Kurds of Khorasan during the late 19th century.

It features a fine and densely woven lattice of repeating floral motifs in various blues, red, yellow, green, peach, brown and ivory set against an indigo ground. The interconnected patterning and consistent use of color and spacing create a mesmerizing rhythm. Nicely framed by a series of larger borders of shapes and rosettes and thinner simple candy cane stripes in an array of tones.  

In Very Good condition with minimal wear and one small patch.
