This Senneh rug was woven during the second quarter of the 20th Century.

Wonderful but still folky perspective of looking into a building with three arches each with a hanging lantern. The perspective is accentuated by a grid which runs into a columned platform before breaking off into the glowing red distance. The piece is further differentiated by the addition of a zoomorphic alter directly in the center.
