This rug was by Kurds during the first quarter of the 20th century.  It features an abstracted and directional tree of life motif on a cerulean ground. Framed by a main border that alternated between rosettes and serrated leaves on the sides but is composed solely of rosettes on the top and bottom.

In very good condition; some areas have been professionally restored including reinforcing all four sides for longevity.
