This lilihan rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Western Iran.
The field is composed of an intricate mirrored curvilinear floral design, on a coral ground. The main border is an unusual design of leaves and blossoms, on an deep navy ground. The minor borders are composed of delicate floral meanders on an ivory ground.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Pile is low, with a sturdy handle.
