Tapestry handwoven in Aubusson, France during the early 20th century. 

This tapestry depicts a scene of two women enjoying a lush outdoor landscape. Both are barefoot and wearing fine fabric clothing. One woman is standing while holding a picnic basket as the other is seated on the ground with a bagpipe. What appears to be a dog can be seen in the background between them.

In good condition, signs of wear throughout the tapestry with patches of fabric in places, particularly in the verdure sections. There is also some discoloration on the left side, pictured. Flatwoven, with a soft handle.
