This Kurdish rug was handwoven during the early 20th century.

It features five columns of chubby paisleys running along the length of the rug atop a dark indigo field.  An ivory border encompasses the central area that helps brighten the piece. Reds, blues, brown, orange and a lively yellow round out the color palette.

In perfect condition, with no signs of wear. Pile is thick, with a heavy handle.
