This Kerman was woven in Central Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features a detailed field of various floral bouquets on a salmon ground. It is framed by a wide and ornate "c" scroll border of curved leaves and peacock like palmettes. Various blues, greens, pinks, burnt orange and cream complete the color palette.
In good condition, some wear (as pictured). One area has been patched with a piece of another rug. The patch is woven in as well as strongly secured from the back of the rug.
