This Kerman was woven during the second quarter of the 20th century.

It was reconfigured from a larger Kerman rug by combining two borders into one runner. It features a flowing, floral design with scrolls and other baroque elements associated with French Savonnerie rugs.  Bright raspberry pink, light blues, gold, and creams on a pistachio ground.

In very good condition, with a thick meaty pile. A hand-sewn seam is visible from the back of the rug but nearly invisible from the face due to the plush pile.
